Turrel Farm

Location: The Turrel Farm consists of six tracts and 6068+/- acres of land located in Crittenden and Poinsett Cpunties near Turrell and Tyronza, Arkansas, about 25 miles north of Memphis, Tennessee. The Turrell tracts are located on both, the east and west side of Interstate Highway 55 at Turrell, AR, with the main tract being on the west side of the Turrell tract, and on the north side of Highway 42. The West Heafer tract is located about three miles west of the Turrell tract, and on the south side of Highway 42. The Tyronza tracts are located just north of Tryonza, AR, and about five miles north of the Turrell tracts.

Acreage: The Turrell tracts consist of 4637+/- acres, the East Heafer tract consist of 240+/- acres, the West Heafer tract consist of 431+/- acres, and the Tryonza tracts consist of 760+/- acres. Total deeded acres 6068+/- acres. Cropland acreage is 5619+/- acres.

Improvements: The cropland is all precision leveled, with some of the smaller tracts to zero grade, but the majority being to a prescribed slope. The Turrel and Heafer Tracts Have tree wood frame homes, two metal shop buildings, three pole sheds, three grain storage facilities, one of the wich is 140,000 bushels capacity, one is new and is 290,000 bushels capacity and the other is 80,000 bushels capacity, a 2500 bushel per hour grain dryer, four 1/4 mile pivots with power units, one 1/2 mile pivot with power unit, 1/2 mile of 16 inch underground pipe, 1/4 mile of 12 inch underground pipe, 40 irrigation  wells, some electric and some diesel, eight 10 inch re-lift, and twelve duck hunting pits. Recreation: The property is adjacent to the Wapanocca National Wildlife Refuge. This refuge holds a good duck and goose population, which enhances the hunting on the Turrell Farm. The duck hunting pits are all roll top nd are located adjacent to a road so access is good for the hunters.
